The New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania (NJ/NY/PA) Chapter is one of the most engaged and dynamic groups within the Eghosa Alumni Association. Our chapter is dedicated to supporting Eghosa Anglican Grammar School in Benin City, Nigeria.

Our chapter collaborates with other alumni groups to promote a conducive environment at Eghosa School. We focus on enhancing academic excellence and improving students’ lives through fundraising and development initiatives. Unity and long-term success are key elements of our vision.

Key Achievements

Our chapter has made significant contributions to the school’s development. Most notably, we played a pivotal role in the renovation of the science and library buildings, contributing approximately $25,000. Our efforts also include providing necessary laboratory equipment for the school.

Currently, we are focused on raising funds for the construction of a health center, helping bring the school’s facilities into the 21st century.

Annual Events

Our chapter’s annual fundraising event serves as a central gathering for alumni to reconnect, celebrate, and contribute to essential school projects. This event brings together the Eghosa community to raise funds that directly support the school’s growth and development. It serves as a reminder of our shared commitment to the school’s continued success, providing an opportunity for alumni to actively contribute to Eghosa’s future.

Our chapter continues to work towards creating lasting impact at Eghosa Anglican Grammar School. Through collective effort, we aim to offer hope and support to students, ensuring that they feel supported throughout their educational journey.

Supporting Eghosa’s Legacy

Our chapter, in collaboration with other North American chapters, remains fully engaged in supporting the school’s mission. We offer both financial assistance and a strong alumni network, ensuring that Eghosa’s legacy endures for future generations.

The leadership of each chapter plays a key role in guiding the Eghosa Alumni Association’s mission and vision. Volunteer leaders work together to foster a strong community, plan meaningful events, and ensure that chapter activities align with the values of service, integrity, and support for Eghosa Anglican Grammar School. These dedicated leaders represent the chapter’s interests, provide strategic direction, and actively engage members in advancing our shared goals.
